The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics * READ AND BE AWARE!*

The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics has been working since 2001 to eliminate toxins from beauty products. They have been asking companies to remove the ingredients that were banned in Europe from American products. www.safecosmetics.org

Over 300 companies have signed on to the campaign, promising to get rid of toxic ingredients. LOreal, Revlon and Unilever are removing the chemicals that fall under the EU ban. One Bay Area company, Avalon, has made a larger commitment to consumer health.

Mary Kay, Arbonne, Melaleuca, Nu Skin, Avon, will NOT sign the pact.

Isn't is amazing all the big names - that women have been told are perfect for their skin - and yet they have been toxic. I am not surprised at how many women have cancer - with all this toxic stuff being sucked into their skin and then into their bloodstream. How could any healthy red or white blood cell survive?

Hi Karla
Thanks for the warning! I went through the report and there were only 2 Nu Skin products on there and they're not available in Europe - probably because we have stricter controls over here!
That's the whole point of this report - to get the FDA in the States to ban the chemicals already banned by the EU - its nice to know we're ahead of the USA in something :-)
