- About Me:
- A man of many parts as my mother in law would say. I have had a varied career in the last 62 years staring with clerical work for some 10 years then making a complete change and training in forestry. I built up my own business over 12 years and became a lecturer at a local college. Having finally arrived with a qualification and some stability I then became fascinated by the creative process and gave up everything to train in community theatre. This led me through an interesting path leading from community theatre practitioner to physical theatre, dance teacher, new circus teacher, arts in health administrator, arts in health consultant and on to training in psychotherapy as a psychodramatist. I am now working with my wife and partner at our small centre in one of the white villages in Andalucia where we offer therapeutic retreats in art, psychodrama and creativity. I am a grandfather with 10 grandchildren, very much in love with my wife of 20 years and ever hopeful of being able to use my skills here in Spain to sustain our simple lifestyle.
- Favourite Exercise
- I love walking in the mountains above all else Although having learnt to ride in the last two years and owning two horses riding must come a close second. I also study and practice (not as much as I should) a mix of body work techniques to keep me fit.
- Favorite Healthy Foods
- I enjoy cooking and we prepare all our own food using almost no processed foods at all. We buy Local produce from the village gardens and from shops in Ronda. I make up a very good pork stew. Pork is the local staple diet. Lots of pastas, chickpeas, lentils.
